Mumbai, 03rd April 2024: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), launched the All-New Toyota URBAN CRUISER TAISOR, a dynamic addition to its robust and full range of versatile SUV line-up in India.Toyota Kirloskar Motor declared that the Urban Cruiser Taisor would be available in India. Based on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, the Taisor is priced starting at Rs 7.73 lakh. This is the sixth model that the Maruti-Toyota alliance has shared.
There are two versions of the Toyota Taisor available: a 1.0L turbocharged and a 1.2L gasoline engine. The highest variant of the 1.2L version costs Rs 9.52 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in manual and AMT options. Toyota also has a CNG variant available. Prices for the 1.0L variant range from Rs 10.55 lakh to Rs 13.03 lakh, (ex-showroom).
The 1.2L version offers 89bhp and 113Nm of torque while the turbocharged unit offers 99bhp and 148Nm of peak torque. The turbo model has a six speed gear transmission compared to 5-speed gearbox in other versions. mileage of 22.8 km/l.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor: Styling
Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor’s look is similar to that of the Fronx, but it has a unique front design. This striking new gloss black honeycomb mesh grille and new LED daytime running lights (DRLs) with the Toyota insignia prominently displayed in the middle are features of this coupe-styled subcompact SUV. The SUV also has redesigned alloy wheels and modified LED taillights that are linked by a light bar on the boot. The Taisor distinctively raked rear windscreen is still present, adding to the car’s elegant and modern appearance.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor: Interior
The inside of the Urban Cruiser Taisor is the same as that of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, with a center-mounted multi-information display (MID) unit and a twin-pod instrument console with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The majority of the elements are still present, however the cabin now has a new dual-tone finish.
